What we don't ask for
There are no accounts, sign-up forms, or newsletters on this site, so we don't ask for your name, email address, or location.
Visit and click measurement
Pages load a measurement script from trk.drivingdirectionsforyou.com, a subdomain we operate. When a page loads, it records the visit and sets two first-party cookies, visitor_id and session_id, on drivingdirectionsforyou.com. We use them to count visits and to attribute clicks on advertising and affiliate links, so we know which pages lead to a sale or sign-up we are paid for. When you follow one of those links, the business on the other end may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Google Cloud. Like most websites, its servers log each request, including your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure.
Stored on your device
If you use the light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font service.
Your choices
